Axeman

Axeman has been produced in several castings. The first is the AXM-1N, with the AC-20. Next, was the 1994 paint-set casting, which was a one-piece AXM-2N. Later, in 1997 a posable AXM-2N with more detail was released. Finally, Mechforce UK made a modified version of the 1997 AXM-2N that was even more posable and had additional weapons ports. In much of the literature, this mech is spelled "Axman".

Mech Picture 1997 Casting (modified)
This mini is a better version of the AXM-2N mini. I started from the standard mini, but replaced the gimpy arms with those from the AXM-1N mini. Also, I reposed the right leg into a standing position. This mini is painted in a 3-tone aggressor camo with Lyran markings.

STATUS: Completed and sold 2/2003.

Mech Picture "Equator"
First Casting
This is an AXM-1N painted in the 11th Lyran Regulars scheme from FM:LA.

STATUS: Completed 10/2001. This mech is not for sale.

Mech Picture "Genghis"
1997 Casting (modified)
Here is an AXM-2N that I modified. It has reposed arms from the AXM-1N and a new, better-looking axe. It wears the urban camo paint scheme and markings of the 4th Donegal Guard, the "Red Horde" from the Lyran Alliance Field Manual.

STATUS: Completed March 2001. This mech is not for sale.

Mech Picture "Cold British Steel"
MFUK Casting
This is the 4th casting of the Axeman mech! This one is the Mechforce UK AXM-2NA, and is similar to the standard AXM-2N mech, except it requires more assembly (allowing it to be posed diferently) and has different detailing. It also has all the weapons represented on the mini. This one has a 3-tone subdued greens FedCom paint job.

STATUS: Sold, July 2000.

Mech Picture "Honor Guard"
1994 Casting
The 2N Axeman replaces the AC-20 with 2 LRM-15s for a more balanced attack. This mini is painted in a Lyran Royal Guards paint scheme, with Lyran Alliance markings.

STATUS: Sold, Jan 2000.

Mech Picture "Executioner"
1997 Casting
I thought it would be cool to make a mini that looks like a medieval executioner, and what better mech to chose? Video game fans will recognize the artistic influence from the Executioner on Mace, the Dark Ages.

STATUS: Sold, Jan 2000.

Mech Picture "Axing You Politely"
First Casting
This Axeman is painted in Lyran Commonwealth house regular colors. Often used as a bodyguard for command mechs, the combination of an AC-20, a large pulse laser, and an axe make it deadly at close range. This is one mech that you don't want axing you any questions.

STATUS: This mech is not for sale. Completed in 1993.
